- From Sunday, December 6: Sistine Chapel Concert in honor of his Holiness Pope Benedict XVI on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the foundation of the Federal Republic of Germany and the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. This concert was offered by the President of Germany.
- From Tuesday, December 8: Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception from Piazza di Spagna, veneration of the Virgin with the Holy Father.
- From Wednesday, December 9: Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen 30th Anniversary Memorial Mass at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, New York celebrated by Archbishop Timothy Dolan.
- From Thursday, December 24: Christmas Eve Mass with Pope Benedict XVI in St. Peter’s Basilica.
- From Friday, December 25: Pope Benedict will read a Christmas message from the central balcony of the basilica as crowds gather in Saint Peter's Square. Rebroadcast at 10 p.m.
- Thursday, December 31 @ 11 p.m. From the Vatican Basilica, on New Year’s Eve, the Holy Father will preside over first Vespers in thanksgiving for the closing year.
