In this video, Monsignor James P. Moroney explains what is new in the new missal. He is a faculty member of Saint John's Seminary and serves as Executive Secretary to the Vox Clara Commission. A consultant to the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, Monsignor Moroney is a Priest of the Diocese of Worcester and Rector of Saint Paul’s Cathedral.

“Preparing for the New Roman Missal” was a symposium for priests held June 2-4 at Saint John's Seminary in Boston, MA. With the imminent introduction of the first new English-language translation of the Roman Missal in almost 40 years, priests and pastoral staffs are faced with an enormous challenge and an incredible opportunity. This workshop for priests was designed to provide an understanding of the origins of the third edition of the Missale Romanum and the translation principles and process followed for its completion.
